MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS

ADVOCATE

One of the biggest ways we can help make a difference in the suicide prevention community is by just being an advocate for mental health. Most people don't want to ask for help because they are afraid of being judged or having others look at them differently. By being someone that is open to talking about mental health, you can create a safe space. Mental health is a lonely place so by just having more people willing to talk to about it, it can really help save lives.

HOST A GAME

Join us in our mission to make a positive impact on mental health awareness in the basketball community. A major way to do this is by hosting a mental health awareness game. By registering your team to host a game, we will provide local resources in your community that you can share with your team as well as promote your program on our social media. We would love for you to add a fundraising aspect to the game whether that is through social media, or maybe even a 50/50 raffle during the game. All money you raise from the game you host will be donated to the AFSP either at a state or national level.

REPRESENT

We are dedicated to raising money for the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention through various fundraising initiatives. One of those initiatives is our team store. Support our cause by purchasing our company apparel. We will have seasonal and limited edition items throughout the year. Every item sold contributes to raising funds for the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention. Explore our collection and show your support for mental health awareness.

ABOUT US

Stay4Me is a community project established to honor our late, Neena, and to raise awareness about mental health. We believe that integrating mental health games into the basketball community can help combat the stigma surrounding mental health awareness in sports. Through fundraising and the sale of company apparel, we are focused on raising money for the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention. Our team is committed to making a difference and creating a supportive environment for mental health awareness in the sports community.

STAY4ME COMMUNITY

Most people think people who struggle with depression and suicidal thoughts are quiet, reserved people that look sad. Unfortunately that couldn't be further from the truth.

These pictures show someone who was living with depression and why we felt the need to help educate others. After she left this world we heard so many people say "well she never seemed sad" or "she seemed like the happiest person in the world" and even "she seemed like she had a perfect life".
Our goal is to teach others to look at mental health illnesses as you would with someone who has a cancer.  Just because you can't see it on the outside doesn't mean they aren't dying from it on the inside.
